Very nice mandolin by Raffaele Esposito, student of Vinaccia, made in Naples in 1899
Domed back formed by 19 rosewood ribs plus two wider ones, all separated by a maple fillet.
Close-knit spruce top edged with violin-like binding and rosewood surround.
The fingerboard is rosewood with 17 brass frets.
This mandolin has mechanics covered with bone buttons.
The top nut is bone.
This mandolin is strung with argentinian strings with a comfortable action.
