Wooden tampoura south India.
Superior model
Lengh: 109 cm
Interesting tampura from southern India also called Bhajni Veena. It is an instrument that unlike the northern tampouras has a wooden crate instead of the traditional calabash. It has 5 strings and measures overall 109 cm.
Pleasantly decorated, it does not present the accuracy of construction tampura north India.
This is a superior model
By cons it is a very solid instrument that does not risk accident as for instruments with calabash.
Length of vibrating string: about 69 cm.
