Swan neck lute in carved wood
Length: about 80cm
This very interesting instrument has 4 main strings and 4 sympathetic steel strings operated by rustic pegs.
It is decorated with bone and mother-of-pearl inlays
The back is made of a dried fruit gourd.
This lute remains nevertheless of rather rustic invoice with a blackened wood.
The table is made of a buffalo skin.
Origin: probably India or Pakistan
