This beautiful Neapolitan type mandolin was made in 1912. It is signed by August Schutz.
The base is made up of 15 rosewood ribs separated by a maple fillet.
The table is in dark wood of the rosewood type with a central part in burl.
The rosette is carved with a floral motif as well as the top of the peg.
The ebony fingerboard is curved on each fret for easier playing.
Note the very elegant mechanical and mechanical buttons in wood.
The rosewood neck is a level of this beautiful manufacture.
