Indian 3-voice harmonium from Bhargava musicals in Bombay.
This harmonium dates from the 80s. It is very well made. This is where I bought my own harmonium myself in the early 80s and it is still in perfect playing condition.
This one has some signs of wear on the outside but in terms of its operation, it responds presently: the compression is good, no air leaks and we have completely revised it in terms of tuning. .
Originally the tuning fork was very high, almost at 444 Hz and we retuned it to the A 440Hz tuning fork which allows it to be played with other instruments.
It has 3 rows of vibrating brass reeds: a low, a medium and a high which covers the 3 octaves of Indian music.
This instrument has been used in ahrams and yoga centers for chanting kirtans. He is ready to start again.
