The Surbahar is in some ways the “big brother” of the Indian Sitar, of which it is the low, large version. Its unique sound is characterized by the depth and sustain of its bass and midrange.
Made in one of the great violin making workshops in Calcutta, at Monoj Kumar Sardar, this Surbahar is a high quality instrument.
